Improving Fish Identification from Low-Quality Images Using AI?
I’m working on a small project using the FishBase API to identify fish species from images and match them with the database. Sometimes the images captured in the field are blurry or low quality, which makes identification more difficult.
Has anyone tried improving image clarity before processing or analyzing it? I’m curious if enhancing images first could help with better visual recognition. I’ve seen some AI tools like Remini that can sharpen blurry photos and improve details.
Do you think enhancing images before using them for fish identification could improve results when working with APIs or datasets like FishBase?
