I want to leverage the FishBase API to automatically update information on the scientific name, habitat, maximum length, and illustrative images of each species. I'm facing some challenges in optimizing API queries to reduce latency and avoid exceeding request limits, and I'd also like to ask how to integrate historical species distribution data for marine ecological research. Does anyone have experience or suggestions on best practices for using the FishBase API in real-time applications that they could share with me?
