I’m working on a project that involves accurate measurement handling, and although my website is focused on bra-size calculations, I’m exploring ways to use the FishBase API for managing biological measurement data in a similar structured format.

My question is:
What’s the best way to retrieve and normalize size-related data (like length, weight, range values) from the FishBase API so it stays consistent across different species?

I’ve noticed some variations in fields depending on the endpoint, so any guidance on standardizing these values would be very helpful.
