Should custom levels focus more on rhythm than spam speed?
Geometry Dash is well known for challenging gameplay and creative community levels, but there is a special style of play that players often mention called Geometry Dash spam. This style focuses on tapping or clicking extremely rapidly in order to push the cube or ship through a section filled with obstacles that require nonstop precision. If you fail for even a moment, the level is over, which makes spam sections some of the most nerve wracking and also strangely addictive parts of the game.
Many players enjoy creating custom levels built entirely around spam mechanics, pushing the limits of finger speed and timing. Others complain that these sections are unfair or repetitive since they rely less on rhythm and memorization and more on mechanical ability to click hundreds of times in just a few seconds. Still, Geometry Dash spam has become a sort of mini culture inside the broader fanbase, with videos, tutorials, and competitions dedicated to it.
Here is the question I would like to ask: do you personally enjoy Geometry Dash spam, or do you feel it takes away from the rhythm and flow that makes the game fun? I am curious what different players think.
