MSCs Isolation & Expansion

MSCs can be extracted from a variety of tissues, including bone marrow, muscle, cartilage, and adipose tissues, as well as from a variety of sources. In addition, MSCs have been found in the endometrium, breast milk, menstrual blood, pancreatic tissue, different tooth tissues, and fetal dermis tissues. Furthermore, under specific circumstances, dedifferentiation of differentiated cells may increase a tissue's MSC pool. The characteristics of cells from various organs vary, such as the expression of cell surface markers and their capacity for differentiation. It is possible for populations that originate from a single source to have heterogeneity and differing developmental potential.
