What is a mop graffiti?

Dauber markers, otherwise known as Mops or Squeezers, are markers with a squeezable body that allow for extra ink or paint to be pushed out of the marker nib while writing, the excess in paint or ink causes those fun graffiti drips. A mop brush is a large, round wash brush most commonly used to cover large areas in watercolour or other diluted or liquid colour whilst a wash brush is a large flat brush that does a similar job. The name 'mop graffitihttps://infamyart.com/collections/mops-and-squeezers stems from labourers wearing a symbol to identify their trade. This could have been a tuft of wool for shepherds, a wisp of straw for farm workers, etc. These symbols meant that employers would instantly recognise the trade of those seeking work.
